The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) awarded accreditation to Coverys as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) credits to physicians nationwide. ACCME accreditation will help Coverys continue its mission of informing, instructing and positively influencing physicians’ behavior.

Coverys’ online CME library is available to healthcare providers nationwide at www.coveryseducation.com and archives CME activities in a user-friendly, easy to access venue. Activities include multi-module courses on communication and issues of Coverys’ risk management newsletter, Perspectives on Clinical Risk Management. Additional courses in a range of areas will be added to the company’s online CME collection on an ongoing basis. The cost for one credit is $20 and can be purchased on the website using a credit card. Upon successfully finishing an exam, you will be able to print a certificate of completion.

Protocol Manual
In addition to the online activities, which can be purchased with a credit card at minimal cost, six courses offering between two and four CMEs each are now available in print format. They are based on and included in the Risk Management Protocols for the Medical Office Practice Manual. Both the manual and the CME tests are available to policyholders in CT, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, PA, RI, VA & VT at no cost and to non-policyholders for $159.
