Available to policyholders in CT, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, VA and VT*

REACT (Respond Effectively And Communicate Timely) is a program that addresses the needs of policyholders and their patients after an adverse event has taken place, help prevent the reoccurrence of such events, and reduce litigation.

The REACT Program is open to policyholders in CT, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, VA and VT, including hospitals and facilities. However, it is not available to dentists.

To qualify for the REACT Program, the patient must have experienced an adverse event. For purposes of this Program, we define an adverse event as a harm resulting from the process of medical care rather than from the patient’s underlying disease.

To participate in the Program, a completed Enrollment Form must be submitted to the REACT Program Administrator. In addition to the form, the REACT Disclosure and Apology Education course should also be completed. The course is available to Coverys policyholders regardless of whether they are program participants.

To obtain a REACT enrollment packet (which includes an Enrollment Form), or for more information on participating in the Program, you can call the REACT Program Administrator at 800.225.6168, or send an email to REACT@coverys.com
