ProMutual Group Promotes Jeff Lunn to Senior Strategist, Healthcare

Boston, MA – ProMutual Group, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance, announces the appointment of Jeff Lunn, CPCU, to senior strategist, healthcare. Promoted from within the company’s ranks, Lunn was previously a senior marketing representative for the Massachusetts territory. In his new capacity, Lunn will play a leading role in the research, strategy and implementation of any company changes surrounding healthcare and medical professional liability reform.

Hanson, chief operating officer for ProMutual Group. “This new role will keep ProMutual Group proactive regarding healthcare reform, and Jeff’s expertise and guidance will be important in determining how the company responds to future changes in healthcare delivery. This position was created to provide strategic direction and business development as it relates to the impact of healthcare reform and the shift towards consolidation and alternative risk programs. Lunn will be responsible for researching, monitoring and analyzing evolving market trends in healthcare and keeping company management apprised of and responding, as necessary, to such changes. The role expands upon the company’s efforts to be a proactive partner for its policyholders.

Lunn has over 25 years of experience in the insurance, technology and healthcare industries. Before joining ProMutual Group in 2003 he was in sales of insurance technology solutions for various companies. For a decade prior to that he was in commercial insurance underwriting and agency sales. 

Lunn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In addition, he is a designated Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and a licensed Massachusetts Insurance Producer. He is currently a member of the Massachusetts Society for Healthcare Risk Management and is active in many Massachusetts healthcare associations. Lunn is also involved in various ProMutual Group product development, risk management and physician education programs and teams. Lunn and his wife Randee reside in Medfield, Mass. with their two children.
