Coverys, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance, recently appointed Dan Houghton to marketing representative, covering the Massachusetts territory. Dan will be responsible for managing the agency distribution network, along with renewal and new business development in this territory.
Dan has been with Coverys in the Underwriting Department for 11 years, most recently serving as an underwriter, and previously serving as an associate underwriter and underwriting technician. Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Licensed Massachusetts Insurance Producer and is currently pursuing his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designation.

Dan resides in Jamaica Plain, Mass., and also enjoys spending time at his family’s farm in southwestern N.H.
