Boston, MA - July 20, 2015
- Coverys, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance, was once again honored as one of the industry’s top performers with the release of the “2015 Ward’s 50” list. This marks the sixth consecutive year Coverys has been selected for Ward’s 50, which recognizes the nation’s top performing property and casualty insurance companies based on annual growth, surplus, premiums and net income.
In defining the top 50 insurance companies, Ward Group analyzes nearly 3,000 property-casualty companies and identifies the top performers based on objective data and subjective quality measures. In the analysis, organizations named to this list are required to pass safety and consistency screens and achieve superior performance over the past five years.
“We are very pleased by our inclusion in the Ward’s 50 for the sixth consecutive year,” said Gregg L. Hanson, CEO and president for Coverys. “This recognition evidences our sustained commitment of superior financial performance for the benefit of the healthcare providers we insure.”
Ward Group noted in its announcement of this year’s top performers, that those recognized passed financial stability requirements and measured their ability to grow while maintaining strong capital positions and underwriting results.
