CFO of Coverys to Retire and Successor Named

Richard Hayes set to retire and Lynnette Matza named Interim CFO

Boston, MA - June 21, 2016 - Rick Hayes, chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate finance at Coverys, will retire effective, June 30, 2016. Lynnette Matza, president of PPIC, has been named as the interim CFO as Coverys conducts a national search to fill the leadership role in finance.

Hayes began his career at Coverys in 1997 previously serving as the controller. Since assuming the chief financial officer and senior vice president role, Hayes has been directing the organization’s financial
planning and accounting practices including the establishment and maintenance of relationships with investment institutions and the financial community.

Lynnette Matza has been named Coverys’ interim CFO. Matza is the president and chief executive officer of Preferred Professional Insurance Company (PPIC), a Coverys company. She joined PPIC in 1988 as controller. During her tenure with PPIC, Matza served as vice president of finance, chief financial officer and senior vice president, and president and chief executive officer, a role she has held since 2011.

Matza is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, and graduated with high distinction from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. She will continue in her role as CEO of PPIC during this interim time.
