Coverys does not tolerate racism or social injustice in any form or fashion. We stand by the Black community in condemning the mentality and events that led to the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and so many others. We are committed to looking inward to identify ways we can address social injustices so we can effect positive change and create a more diverse and inclusive society.

In line with this, Coverys committed $250,000 to organizations that address social injustice including the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and is extending our volunteer day program, which allows our employees to donate their time to support community advocacy one day per week.

Additionally, Coverys has declared Juneteenth as an official company holiday. As an organization, we feel it is important to honor this day and provide an opportunity for our employees to learn and reflect on the significance of the day, reflect on recent events, and take action to create positive change.

This is a moment for reflection and important dialogues. We are evaluating and deliberating where we can and will do better as an organization as well.
