Robert has a successful track record of building sustainable and profitable businesses within Lloyd’s of London. From 1998 Robert worked for Novae Group plc, where he was employed for 20 years. Starting as class underwriter, he rose through the ranks to become active underwriter and then chief underwriting officer (CUO). During his tenure as CUO, the syndicate was consistently profitable and grew from £500M GWP to £940M GWP. Robert operated as a consultant in 2019 until joining Coverys in 2020.

Lloyd’s is proposing to transfer certain EEA insurance policies to Lloyd’s Brussels. The proposed transfer will not change terms and conditions of any policy, except that Lloyd’s Brussels will become the insurer and Data Controller in respect of the transferred policies.
